Dave Meyer Live at Phoenix First Assembly

At each Joyce Meyer conference, her husband, Dave Meyer, always takes some time on Friday morning to talk about patriotism, the problems in our country, government and what we, as Christians, can do about it.

His session opened with the singing of the National Anthem. Here are some of my notes:

Immoral problems occur when moral people agree to immoral standards.

Not doing what needs to be done in the face of evil encourages its growth.

Our problems grow by:

1. Ignorance: It grows by ignorant silence
2. Laziness: Not doing anything at all

1963 – when prayer was being taken out of our schools, where was the body of Christ?

It’s impossible to fix something if you don’t have the knowledge of how to fix it.

History books have eliminated God from our history. God is in all of history no matter what.

We, the Christians, are responsible to fix the immorality.

America is the only country started on the teachings of Jesus by people seeking a place to worship how they wanted.

We need to change immorality to morality. We’ve allowed the enemy to dictate our ways.

If we are truly the religious right, it's up to change this country

If we don’t’ fulfill our responsibility we will fail.

We must be diligent.

God gave us this country and you’re not taking my country on my watch!

If what the politicians say line up with what they’ve done, then they will be known by their fruits.
