If you grew up going to church, you’ll be able to answer the question, “What is the Holy Trinity?”
The Father, the son and the Holy Ghost or Spirit. Simple, right? Not so much. If you think about it, how can 3 entities be one God? It makes no sense. A Jewish friend of mine told me, “I can’t wrap my brain around the Trinity thing.”
Some people have explained it using the example of H2O. You have ice, water and steam. They all are H2O.
Others say that that’s not a good analogy. It’s not accurate. So when I find a good definition of the Holy Trinity. I want to share it. To help folks “wrap their brains around it.”
Christian preachers have been trying to explain a spiritual concept to humans since the Resurrection. Many people just believe. They take it in faith.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 NIV
Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. ~John 14:9
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. ~John 3:16
