What would Jesus do?

WWJD? Remember the movement of a few years ago? What happened to it?

I want to revive it. We need to revive it. This is a call to all Christians out there to truly “walk the walk” not just “talk the talk”.

When you say, “I am a Christian.” What does it mean? Jesus is you Lord and Savior and He died for your sins. That’s just the beginning. A Christian’s goal in life is to strive to be like Jesus. For humans, it is an impossible task, but that doesn’t mean we can’t or shouldn’t try each day.

God gave us free will to make our own decisions, but that doesn’t mean that we should go on sinning just because we are guaranteed forgiveness. We are tempted on a daily basis to lie, cheat, steal, be mean, rude, nasty, greedy, lustful, prideful, envious, gluttonous, vain, careless, lacking compassion.

Every time we are confronted with these temptations, we need to STOP and think: What would Jesus do? What would he say? What would he choose? What would he write?

The reputation of Christians has been hurting lately. We are seen as hypocrites, two-faced, backstabbers. Non-believers see us going to church on Sunday and then see us cheating or being rude as soon as we’re far enough away from the church building.

Is that the way you want to be seen? How do you expect to evangelize if non-believers don’t see us acting like Jesus?

Jesus told us, we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. (Matthew 5:13-16). He wants us to let our light shine so that the world may see our good deeds. That light is the light of Jesus that is within us in our hearts as the Holy Spirit.

In this blog, I’ll be writing regular articles based on scripture on using the WWJD? principal to live our lives on a daily basis.

Spread the word. Back in the day when WWJD? started, we didn’t have social networking. This needs to go VIRAL. Spread the word. Start with sharing this with all your Christian friends on Facebook, Twitter.

Go to https://giselleaguiar.com/wwjd and pick up free logos to use on your web site or blog. Get your church involved. Buy the WWJD? bracelets, hats, jewelry, shirts and bumper stickers to help remind you to walk the walk. Don’t just wear them LIVE WWJD?

God Bless,
