Top 10 Bible Prophecies that are Coming True Right Now!

Bible prophecy is fascinating! I first became interested in end times prophecies at the end of the last millennium/century. That’s how the Lord lead me to salvation! Lately, I’ve been listening to several Bible Prophecy preachers and J.D. Farag is one of them. He’s an interesting person. Born in Lebanon, he emigrated to the states as a baby. His parents became U.S. citizens (doing it the right way), when he turned 18, he, too became a citizen. He’s been saved for 30 years. He pastors a church in Hawaii and has a YouTube Channel and Podcast.

Today, I’m going to cover the Bible passages that he quoted in his list. Below is the video of this message. I highly recommend you watch it as he goes into way more details…

Top 10 Bible Prophecies…

10 – Mocking of Bible prophecy and the Lord’s return.

Hey! They’ve been talking about this since the 1st century! Why hasn’t He come already? Na, He’s not coming! The scripture proof of this is in 2 Peter chapter 3 — which I covered a while ago, but here are the highlights…

Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.”

They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed.

But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

2 Peter 3:3-10 NLT

9 – Sudden destruction of Damascus, Syria

There’s not much left of Damascus. It happens to be the oldest existing city in the world. The civil war in Syria has just about destroyed it. It won’t take much to finish it off.

This message came to me concerning Damascus:

“Look, the city of Damascus will disappear!
It will become a heap of ruins.”

Isaiah 17:1 NLT

23 This message was given concerning Damascus. This is what the Lord says:

“The towns of Hamath and Arpad are struck with fear,
for they have heard the news of their destruction.
Their hearts are troubled
like a wild sea in a raging storm.
24 Damascus has become feeble,
and all her people turn to flee.
Fear, anguish, and pain have gripped her
as they grip a woman in labor.
25 That famous city, a city of joy,
    will be forsaken!
26 Her young men will fall in the streets and die.
Her soldiers will all be killed,”
says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
27 “And I will set fire to the walls of Damascus
that will burn up the palaces of Ben-hadad.”

Jeremiah 49:23-27 NLT

8 – Allied invasion of Israel, led by Russia, Iran and Turkey

This is another message that came to me from the Lord: “Son of man, turn and face Gog (Russia) of the land of Magog (central Asia), the prince who rules over the nations of Meshech and Tubal (Turkey), and prophesy against him. Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord: Gog, I am your enemy! I will turn you around and put hooks in your jaws to lead you out with your whole army—your horses and charioteers in full armor and a great horde armed with shields and swords. Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (Sudan), and Libya will join you, too, with all their weapons. Gomer (Turkey) and all its armies will also join you, along with the armies of Beth-togarmah (Turkey) from the distant north, and many others.

13 But Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish will ask, ‘Do you really think the armies you have gathered can rob them of silver and gold? Do you think you can drive away their livestock and seize their goods and carry off plunder?’”

Ezekiel 38:1-6, 13 NLT

Libya has been in a civil war until recently. The U.N. is currently working on a ceasefire. Once they are a country again, they’ll be able to build up their army. Furthermore, Turkey has already partnered with them. Israel is very prosperous right now and its neighbors are getting jealous.

7 – Massive earthquakes increasing in frequency and intensity.

Puerto Rico, which is where I’m from, has been shaking since December 28, 2019. I follow Every Earthquake on Twitter and I can click over to the USGS where you can see more details on each earthquake. At times, I’ve seen in any given 3-week period from over 280 earthquakes to over 500. They vary in intensity from 2.5 to 5.5 and higher. The higher ones inevitably cause damage. I lived in Puerto Rico for 8 years and I felt some tremors — maybe 3. I can’t imagine living through several a day. This is just one area that’s experiencing a lot tremors and earthquakes.

Earthquake frequency increasing over the years

Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

Matthew 24:4-8 NLT

6 – Increase of wickedness

The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.

Genesis 6:5 NLT

26 “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 27 In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 “And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building— 29 until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.”

Luke 17:26-29 NLT

5 – Increase of lawlessness

Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction. He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.

Don’t you remember that I told you about all this when I was with you? And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes. For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming.

This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. 10 He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. 11 So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. 12 Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 NLT

4 – Global cry for peace and security

When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 NLT

Here we have another analogy to a woman giving birth. I’ve never had kids, but I know that once the birth pains start, they get stronger and more frequent.

3 – Intoxicating Obsession with dividing Jerusalem

This message concerning the fate of Israel came from the Lord: “This message is from the Lord, who stretched out the heavens, laid the foundations of the earth, and formed the human spirit. I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All the nations will gather against it to try to move it, but they will only hurt themselves.”

Zechariah 12:1-3 NLT

2 – Confirming of a 7-year peace agreement with many

27 “The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.”

Daniel 9:27 NLT

Let me be clear, President Trump is NOT the Antichrist! The Abraham Peace Accords is a precursor to this.

1 – Forming of a one-world religion, government, and economy

We are SOOOOO here! I did a piece called the Signs of the Times which you need to check out — from different sources.

11 Then I saw another beast come up out of the earth. He had two horns like those of a lamb, but he spoke with the voice of a dragon. 12 He exercised all the authority of the first beast. And he required all the earth and its people to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 He did astounding miracles, even making fire flash down to earth from the sky while everyone was watching. 14 And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life. 15 He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.

16 He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. 17 And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name. 18 Wisdom is needed here. Let the one with understanding solve the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666.

Revelation 13:11-18 NLT

He also mentions Revelation 17 and 18 and I did a study on those chapters here.

If you’re not convinced yet…

Here’s another Bible Prophecy podcast from yet another source….

I’m so glad I’m not going to be around when all this hits the fan. I’ll be raptured with all the born-again Christian believers. Anyone left behind will get a second chance to accept Jesus as their savior, but they’ll have to live through the Tribulation — and that won’t be fun at all.

You have a choice!

If you’re not sure if you’re saved or not, if you truly want to be born again and have the assurance of salvation, receive the Holy Spirit, and get a 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven after you die, or that you won’t be left behind at the Rapture, this is what you have to do…

Invite Jesus into Your Heart and Receive the Gift and Confident Hope of Eternal Life…

You can’t deny that collective nature of all the prophecies simultaneously happening in 2020 doesn’t reflect Bible prophecy. Open your eyes, people!

Soli Deo Gloria! To God Alone Be the Glory!

  1. […] There’s no denying this fact: the world right now is a mess! It’s gotten to the point that you don’t even know who you can trust! The Apostle Paul called it in both 2 Timothy chapter 3 and in the Book of Ephesians chapter 6. In the latter epistle, he gives us very specific and important advice if we as Christians are to survive to be able to do God’s work in this world. Pay attention, my friend, for we are living in the end times… […]
